What do I do with my CPAP hose while I sleep?

One way to place the tube while sleeping is to run the tube underneath the covers down along the body (CPAP unit on the floor). If the tubing is on top of the covers, it may slide off when turning from side to side and therefore pull on the mask, which can cause mask irritation. Another way is to run the tube upwards (over) the head and secure tubing with a pillow or mattress (CPAP unit on the floor). By placing CPAP units on the floor, if moisture begins to form in the tubing, it will then flow back towards the humidifier.

What is the best way to clean CPAP hoses?

If cleaning by hand:

Disconnect from mask and sleep therapy unit.
Use dilute mild detergent or soap into warm water
Submerge tubing and soak for a few minutes
Rinse hose with plain water thoroughly
Pat with a towel and place on flat surface to air dry
