This pre-sized, convex skin barrier is a key component of the New Image two-piece pouching system. The Flextend formula is an extended wear material designed for durability, protecting the skin over an extended period from irritating discharge. Its key feature is the built-in convexity, which adds security and skin protection by gently pressing on the skin around recessed or flush stomas. This barrier also features an integrated floating flange, which allows users to comfortably attach the pouch without applying uncomfortable pressure to the abdomen. The barrier is not made with natural rubber latex.
