About Medline Versette External Catheter
Versette external catheter has a secure, comfortable fit. It consists of a comfortable pad with tubing that uses low pressure suction to pull the urine into a suction canister at the bedside. The best way to help reduce the risk of catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) is reducing unnecessary Foley catheter usage. But when patients with urinary incontinence are bedridden and lack mobility, external catheters can be an effective alternative.
