About Motif Twist Breast Pump Diaphragms
The Motif Twist Diaphragms attach to the top of the breast shield. They act as a protective barrier for the breast pump. This barrier creates the closed pumping system found in all Motif breast pumps. A closed system prevents the buildup of mildew and bacteria within the tubing, milk, and breast pump.

Are the plastic parts BPA free?
Yes! All Motif collection containers, lids, caps, nipples, valves, flanges, and tubing are BPA free.
What are Motif Twist Breast Pump parts made of?
The Twist valve membrane, diaphragm and nipples are made of silicone. The Twist flanges, flange connector, valve body, bottle, bottle tops, bottle disks, and locking rings are made of polypropylene (PP). The Twist tubing is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is DEHP free.
