FAQ:
What is Similac® 360 Total Care®?
Similac 360 Total Care is our newest infant formula, containing 5 HMOs, a prebiotic blend previously only available in breast milk. HMOs are immune-nourishing prebiotics that are structurally identical to those in breast milk.
What is the difference between Similac 360 Total Care and Similac Pro-Advance® and Similac Pro-Sensitive® with 2'-FL HMO?
Pro-Advance and Pro-Sensitive have 2'-FL HMO, which represents the fucosylated category of HMOs. There are 3 categories of HMOs that each provide unique benefits to the infant: fucosylated, sialylated, and acetylated. 360 Total Care has 3-FL (fucosylated), LNT (acetylated), 3'-SL (sialylated), and 6'-SL (sialylated), which represent the other categories of HMOs.
Why don’t 360 Total Care formulas contain FOS?
360 Total Care has replaced the prebiotic FOS with 4 additional HMO prebiotics. HMOs are immune-nourishing prebiotics that are structurally identical to those in breast milk. FOS is not found in human milk.
Are the new 360 Total Care formulas better than Pro-Advance and Pro-Sensitive?
Our Pro-Advance and Pro-Sensitive formulas provide complete nutrition for your infant and have 2'-FL HMO. 360 Total Care formulas have 5 HMOs, which make them closer to breast milk with the addition of 4 HMOs.
