Tranquility Essential Breathable Briefs, Moderate FAQs
How Do You Use Or Apply This Product?
Briefs with Tabs are adult diapers wtih adjustable tabs for a snug fit. Position the diaper, and use the tabs to secure around your waist until it is comforably snug.
How do I put on a tab-style brief?
Tabs are fastenable and secure around the waist of the brief. Pull the tabs so that the brief is fitting snugly, and attach.
What is the difference between briefs and pull-ups?
A brief is designed with tabs, which secure around the waist to help the product fit correctly. Tabbed briefs are ideal for those with mobility issues and would struggle with a regular pull-up. Pull-ups are worn like regular underwear. They do not have tabs and are a great option for those who are able-bodied and would not need assistance with their incontinence products.
Are adult diapers called briefs?
Adult diapers can come in a variety of different designs. One popular style of adult diaper is a brief, which is designed with tabs that secure around your waist for a snug fit.
How do Tranquility tape tabs work?
Poly-backed (plastic) products use a two-part refastenable tape tab. SlimLine Brief sizes S – XL use the refastenable tape tab system. A clothlike backsheet product uses a micro-hook closure tab. SlimLine Brief sizes Youth & XS use the micro-hook closure tab system (think of it as similar to Velcro).
What are refastenable tape tabs?
Refastenable tape tabs are a two-part tape system that allows multiple openings and closing of a brief (diaper).
How do you know by looking at the wetness indicator that the product needs to be changed?
The yellow lines on the wetness indicator will turn blue indicating that wetness is present. When the line is solid blue up to two fingers from the front or back of the product, that is indication that a change is needed.
Size Guide
Choosing the correct incontinence product size is not like choosing a clothing size. You’ll need to measure both waist and hip size, and then use the larger of the two numbers when referencing a sizing guide. When measuring yourself to determine what size product you may need, it’s important to measure the widest part of your body between your waist and your hips. Fitting that measurement will give you a good place to start. Remember when fitting products that leg openings should be snug-fitting with no gaps. If using a tape-tab style product, tapes should land halfway between the belly button and the hips.
