Willow Go Containers with Splashguard FAQs
What is included in the Splashguard Container kit?
The Splashguard Container kit includes 2 container bowls, backs, Splashguards and duckbill valves in 5 or 7 oz.
How do I clean the Splashguard Containers?
After every use, you can wash by hand or pop the parts in the dishwasher on the top rack only.
Can I put the Splashguard Containers in the fridge or freezer between pumping sessions to avoid cleaning?
You'll need to transfer your milk to a storage container after you pump with Go. It’s important to wash breast pumping parts after every session to avoid the growth of bacteria.Â
Do parts need to be replaced?
Replacement rates can vary based on how often you pump, but we recommend replacing the flanges, containers, duckbill valves and pump diaphragms every 90 days for optimal performance
Can I attach the Splashguard to an older Willow Go container?
No. Splashguards should not be used with earlier versions of the Willow Go container, as they do not have a vent to prevent pressurization, which may cause leaking to occur.
Does the Splashguard make the Willow Go completely leak-proof?
No. The Splashguard prevents milk from splashing out of the container, giving you more freedom to pump on the move. The Willow 360 is still the only pump that’s 100% leak-proof in any position – laying down, bending over, or running around.
What sizes are available?
Willow offers Flanges and Milk Containers in size 21mm, 24mm & 27mm. If you are measuring 11mm - 17mm nipple size, we recommend the Willow Inserts with the 24mm Flange or Milk Container for the best pumping experience.
Do I need a special bra for Willow?
We recommend wearing Willow with a full-coverage nursing bra that’s stretchy and has a flap. Avoid underwire and padded bras.
Does Willow work with larger breast sizes?
Yes. Willow was designed to work with larger breast sizes including G and H bra cups.
Can I return Willow if it doesn’t work for me?
Breast pumps and accessories are regulated as single-user product and cannot be returned once the safety seal has been broken. The Willow breakthrough technology is unlike any other pump on the market. If you are having any problems, take advantage of our complimentary 1:1 coaching from our all-mom team of experts.
