What is the shelf life?
All our formulas have a shelf life of at least 12 months from the day they were produced. Check the expiration date on each carton or pouch for specific information.
Does Compleat need to be refrigerated?
Unopened cartons or pouches of Compleat tube feeding formula should be stored in a cool dry place. Do not store near a heat source and do not freeze. Once opened, reclose, or tightly cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

How do I bring my formula to room temperature?
If the carton has been opened and unused formula has been stored in the refrigerator, we recommend running the carton under warm water for several minutes to bring it to room temperature. Do not use a microwave to warm Compleat.
What is the "hang time" for these formulas? Meaning how long can it remain in a tube feeding bag?
The hang time for Compleat formulas, when poured into a clean feeding bag or syringe, is 8 hours. Note: If anything is added directly into the formula (water, broth, protein supplement, etc.), the hang time is reduced to 4 hours. Do not add medications unless directed by a physician.
